Petplan have a range of pet insurance policies available to you. If you’re looking for lifetime cover, then make sure you select their “Covered for life” options: Budget and Supreme. Indeed, their Value cover only covers medical conditions up to £2,500 for a maximum of 12 months.

Budget will give you £4,000 in vet fees each and every year. This is generally enough in most cases and especially for cats and small dog breeds: treating cats and smaller dog breeds is generally less expensive than treating big dogs.

Supreme is designed for bigger, more expensive to treat dogs. This will give you £12,000 to spend in vet fees each and every year. You know that should any serious happen to your pet you would have enough funds to cover veterinary care. However, with high cover level comes high costs, so this cover options is Petplan’s more expensive.
